GUEST POLICIES

The polices below are important to ensure the best guest and stylists experience. Kurlykoils takes pride in our partnerships with high quality services and products. Due to the high demand of our exclusive services and our small team, we have created policies to ensure every client receives an experience that is satisfactory and consistent. We like to think of our policies as a way to keep our team consistent in the way your services are provided and also provide us with structure.

Scheduling:

All appointments are booked through our website, through email or over the phone.

Rescheduling:

To reschedule your appointment, we ask that you do so 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. You may call the salon (317) 974- 9082 and leave a voicemail, respond to the confirmation text thread, or you can email britt@kurlykoils.com.

Cancellations:

We do require a $50 non-refundable deposit for our services and $100 non-refundable deposit for color services. Should you need to reschedule your appointment, we need minimum 48-hour notice. If you need to reschedule or alter your appointment in any way after the 48-hour mark has passed, you will forfeit the deposit. Same day cancellations and no call no shows will be charged for the full appointment. An invoice will be sent and must be paid for you to be able to book with us in the future.

New Clients:

If you have never been to Kurlykoils, or it’s been over 6 months since we last saw you, you are considered a new client. Please book the appropriate service.

Appointment Duration:

The timing listed on the website is for your stylist and doesn’t consider drying time. Please note that new client services are about 2 hours, returning client services are about 1.5 hours, and the Express Curly Cut is about 30 minutes. If you have time constraints, please let your stylist know at the beginning of your appointment.

Running Late:

Please be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to do your service and may be subjected cancellation fee. As an appointment-based business, we appreciate your understanding and support of this company policy. Please call (317)-974-9082 if you’re running late. Keep in my that you may be subjected to a late fee if you’re late.

Product Returns:

All product sales are final at Kurlykoils.

Service Refunds:

All Services are non-refundable. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your service, please contact us within 72 hours and we will be happy to offer a solution. All adjustments to cuts or colors must be performed within 1 week of the original service.

Guests:

Please do not bring guests with you to your appointment. This includes friends, family, spouse, partners or children. Our facility is only designed to accommodate those receiving services. The only exception to this policy is if a parent has scheduled a consultation to discuss their child’s hair or if the client is receiving an Express Curly Cut.

Phone Usage:

We ask that you bring headphones while using your phone and please refrain from taking calls on speaker phone while in the salon.

Confirmations:

Automated confirmation messages are sent out via text & email. Emails are received 5 days prior to your scheduled appointment. Text confirmations are received 72 hours prior to your appointment.  It is important to respond to your text confirmation. Any unconfirmed appointments may be canceled.

We understand life is busy and sometimes hectic, as a courtesy to you we provide appointment confirmations via email & text. However, this is not guaranteed as our computer system may be down for maintenance, updates, or we may not have the correct/current contact information. Please make sure to provide us with any changes to your contact information. It is the client’s responsibility to keep track of appointments to avoid any penalty fees. Before your appointment:

We ask that you come with your hair detangled (not for an Express Cut). Excessive (matted) tangled hair is time consuming and will be subjected to a detangling fee. Please let us know prior to your appointment if you need to leave at a specific time.
