  Omg this place was absolutely phenomenal! The service and the knowledge. Noel was extremely sweet and not service friendly but hospitality friendly and it is such a difference! You can truly hair they are passionate and have a love for hair. Salon is clean and very cozy. I felt like I was at a headspa. I am a natural curly and still wear my hair straight often. I am definitely consider getting a curly cut knowing it’s a community shop that is right down the street that I can book and appointment with to help my upkeep. Lay was also super sweet and knowledgeable. I left thinking when am I going to book my next appointment.

  Noel was so great! She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have very thin, fine and challenging hair. She worked with me to understand my goals and was able to find a great cut and style to make my hair look more full! Highly recommend!

  Noel is amazing and provided me with so much information on maintaining my curls. The overall vibe of the salon was great as well. My first visit but it most definitely won’t be my last.

  Service was excellent,  started on time, and wasn't rushed. Had a very good experience and my hair came out perfect, curls were popping in a way I had never seen before and didn't know how to do myself.

  I  think I found my forever salon. From the moment I walked into KurlyKoils, I felt welcomed, educated, and encouraged. My appointment wasn't just about getting my hair done—it completely changed the way I see and care for my natural hair. A huge shout-out to Alayah! She was incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and intentional with every step of the process. The way she talked about curls was so inspiring. Instead of making me feel like my hair was something to "fix," she helped me appreciate and embrace my own curls. I left feeling confident that I can actually care for my hair myself, which is something I never thought I'd say. For so many Black women, hair salon experiences can come with a lot of anxiety or past trauma. This experience felt healing. I walked out with a new appreciation for my natural texture and genuine excitement to wear my curls proudly. I already can't wait to come back for a twist-out and continue this hair journey.   I’m so happy with my cut. I really wanted my hair cut quite short. At first I was skeptical. Not because I doubted her skills but because my hair is just so thin that I didn’t think she would be able to work with so little. Yet at the end I was so surprised and happy. My hair looks phenomenal and everyone constantly compliments me on how cute my hair looks. Raelyn did an incredible job. Highly recommend this place.

  If you are on the fence, book the appointment.  It is well worth it.  The time and knowledge shared at the appointment helped me understand how my hair has evolved with age.  Raelyn did an incredible job and answered all of my questions and shared the techniques to replicate the look at home.
