Gloria came in today with her main concern being the big F word, Frizz! A lot of curly girls have this in common. Your hair gets frizzy due to lack of moisture. How can you keep moisture in your hair? The first step is to stop shampooing. Gloria walked out with a nice shape today!

I really had a great appointment with Brittney. She inquired a lot about my day to day in order to teach me how to care for my hair at home. At first I was nervous because I know my hair struggles a lot since I’m not able to see a professional as often as I’d like but when she trimmed me I was feeling more confident. Hands down one of the best salon experiences I have ever had. I got my first curly cut in August and my stylist was very patient and thorough with explaining the process behind my haircare and literally broke down the steps for me to repeat the style at home. This was the first salon appointment that **proactively** centered the experience on my personal haircare education. The first appoint is expensive but it’s well priced for what you get and the time spent. Their goal really is to educate and have you leave as independent as possible such that you really only check in every 3-6 months for cuts. I’ve been doing my own hair and getting my hair done for years across major cities and prominent salons (Atlanta, Detroit, New York) and this was a top notch experience. I got a wash and go and curly cut and it lasted about 7 days (including rigorous workouts). I could have gotten a few more days out of it but I just needed to wash my hair. Highly, highly, highly recommend. 12/10.

First time I’d ever gotten a professional cut. The culture of the shop is open and fun, and I learned a ton about curly hair care. Been getting compliments for three days and the curls are still strong!
