New Client Services – Kurlykoils

NEW CLIENT SERVICES

We spend more time with our clients for your initial appointment. Your service will include a play by play of what products to use, how much to use, information about your hair, an extensive detox, and treatment mask. All Curly Cuts at Kurlykoils are done on dry hair, in its natural state.

These are base prices and prices may adjust if the hair is extremely tangled.

Must be at least 13 years old for all services except the Express Curly Cut and the Children’s Workshop

Consultation

$25

If you need to come in and just talk about your hair, get product or routine recommendations for yourself or a loved one, this is the service for you. If you’re booking any of our other services, a consultation comes with every service. This service is for those who only want to talk.

Flat Twist & Two-Strand Twist

$150-$175

Flat Twists and Two-Strand Twists are popular, protective hairstyles that help define curls while reducing hair damage. A flat twist involves twisting two strands of hair flat against the scalp for a sleek, structured look, while a two-strand twist twists two sections of hair around each other for a softer, rope-like texture. Both styles are ideal for natural and textured hair, offering versatility for various looks, from casual to chic. They promote healthy hair growth, reduce breakage, and are low-maintenance, making them perfect for those looking to protect and style their hair effortlessly.

Express Curly Cut

$85-$100

This is a “dusting” cut for experienced wash n’go clients. This service does NOT include us washing and styling your hair, you need to come in with your best wash n’go set.

We have recently changed our policy concerning this service. In the past, we’ve only allowed returning clients to book this service. New policy: Anyone can book this appointment including children of all ages (they need to be able to sit still.)

You should arrive for this appointment:

with your hair styled as a wash n’go (your best set)
your wash n’go should have been properly detangled during your conditioning process and easy to separate for us to section and trim
your hair should be dry
If you are changing your cut drastically, please book the Customized Curly Cut for New or returning clients.
If you don’t have an understanding what any of this means, please book the Customized Curly Cut for new or returning clients

Wash & Define

$150-$175

If you’re struggling with your Washn’go, this service is for you (ages 13 and up). We will discuss what products you’re using and your routine. This service DOES NOT come with a cut. If you need a cut, please schedule a Customized Curly Cut.

This service comes with a consultation. This service comes with a full detox to remove any impurities from the hair, recommendations of products, conditioning treatment or scalp scrub, explanations, thorough detangling, set with styling products, and drying of the curls.

You’ll leave feeling confident with a list of products that were used, in the order they were used, recommended time to return and we will have products available for purchase.

You should arrive for this appointment with your hair detangled (no matting).

Customized Curly Cut

$225-$250

Our Customized Curly Cut is a great start for any new clients (ages 13 and up). We start with a consultation to get to know you, your lifestyle, your current routine, and your expectations. Our goal is to align with you, and we recommend having inspiration pictures.

This service comes with a consultation. This service comes with a full detox to remove any impurities from the hair, recommendations of products, conditioning treatment or scalp scrub, explanations, and thorough detangling, set with styling products, drying of the curls, and a Dry Cut on your hair in its natural state.
