I had a customized curly cut done by Alayah. It was truly a great experience start to finish. Finding the building and parking was easy. I was greeted by the lovely salon manager and my appointment started right on time. From the minute I sat down, Alayah was friendly and FULL of the most helpful information I’ve somehow gone my whole life not knowing about my own hair. Alayah spent a lot of time with me going through each step and explaining everything along the way and literally having me feel my hair so I could feel what the different stages should feel like. It’s insane how much misinformation is out there about curly hair. It is clear that the stylists at Kurlykoils care about curls and knows their stuff. At the end of the appointment, Alayah wrote out my hair routine and the products she used. I bought everything she recommended and feel confident I can do this at home as well, but also confident that if I have questions, Alayah will be happy to help. I will absolutely be returning and I highly recommend this salon! Thanks for making my hair look the best it’s ever looked and educating me :)

I traveled from St. Louis to get my curly cut experience and it definitely exceeded my expectations! Deja asked me questions about my hair routine. She was informative and walked through each step of the process of shampooing and conditioning my hair. I will be back in three months!

Honestly I almost didn’t go because I wasn’t sure If I even had curly hair- I just thought my hair was frizzy, fine & unmanageable until my sister started styling hers different and it was actually super wavy. Plus, I was given some birthday gift cards to do something “just for me”, so I didn’t have an excuse. I’m so glad I used them for this! I booked with Kiana- I totally messed up the booking but God worked it out that she was able to see me the day I walked in (which was the wrong day). She was super patient, walked me through things step by step, answered all my questions no matter how basic or silly they seemed. Plus she gave me a haircut when my hair was dry & styled so the cut would match my waves. LOVE this place, will definitely be going back!

I love coming to this place! The stylist are very knowledgeable about curly hair. They educate and give special individual attention to their clients. They use clean products that aid in the health and look of your hair. I love how they show you how to care for and style your hair!!! Kiana is AWESOME!!! She never disappoints!! She washed, conditioned, styled and gave me a beautiful customized curly cut! It feels good to sit in her chair and know I don't have to worry about how my hair is going to turn out.
