Why are new client prices higher?
More time is spent with new clients so that we are able to properly evaluate your hair. The higher price is to allot for that time.
How should I come for my appointment?
Please come to the salon with a mask on regardless of vaccination status. If you know how to style your hair as a Wash N’go, please come with you best set. If you need assistance with styling, please detangle your hair. Excessive detangling at the salon may be subjected to a detangling fee. If you are receiving a color service, please detangle thoroughly. Please bring earphones so your mobile device does not disturb others.
What is considered a new client?
New client = if you haven’t come to Kurlykoils in the last 6 months.
Am I able to get color at Kurlykoils?
Yes, if you’re a current client. Please discuss with your stylist during your next appointment! You must book a love lesson or customized curly cut before you are able to get a color service.
Do you do children's hair?
Children ages 6-13 may be booked for an Express Cut after doing an 1 on 1 Workshop. Workshops are offered several times a month. It is an opportunity for parents to work with an expert on best ways to manage their children’s hair. Once we show you how to style their hair, they can come do an Express Cut only. We don’t service children under 6. Check our IG @kurlykoils317 for our next workshop.
My child is under 6. Do you have any services for us?
Parents with children under 6 can schedule a consultation by emailing email@example.com
My child hates getting their hair done. They often scream and cry loudly as I’m detangling their hair. Am I able to bring them?
Children who fit in this category would be best suited scheduling a consultation. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Should I bring anything to my "Children's Workshop"?
You may want a bring a tablet as a distraction, snacks too!
Do you service men?
Yes! Men are welcome and we encourage male clients to come visit us.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cards, cash and PayPal. Cash is preferred!
I only see cuts on your services menu, do you trim hair too?
Cuts and trims are the same thing. If you want your hair cut curly, select the Customized Dry Curly Cut or Customized Curly Cut.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
48 hour cancellation is required for all appointments. Deposits are nonrefundable. No call no shows and same day cancellations will be charged for the full appointment price.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. All deposits are nonrefundable.
Do you do consultations?
Consultations are included with every service.
What is the difference between an Express Curly Cut and a Customized Curly Cut?
Both of these services are a cut done on dry hair. The Customized Curly Cut includes a cleanse, condition, and styling products. Express Curly Cut are for clients who normally wear their hair as a wash n go.
Do you have a detangling fee?
Yes, excess detangling outside the allotted time will be subjected to a $50 fee.
Do you take down braids or sew ins?
If I am running late, what should I do?
If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, please call the salon at (317) 974-9082. If you are 30 minutes late, we will not be able service you and the full service amount is due before you are able to return.
Can I bring a guest with me during my service?
No guests are allowed to come with you for the duration of your service. There is a nice restaurant next door if someone needs to come with you.
